So I'm guessing the Firefox application itself, not counting the content, is around 400 MB? And there's also 3 background processes of Firefox, around 500 MB memory usage, in task manager. My 4 Firefox foreground processes in task manager is around 600 MB. It does take a while to free up process memory when you close pages, so don't expect the task manager memory usage to fall immediatly after you close a tab or extension.įor me, this page currently takes 42 MB.
